FOUND my first bantam orp eggs! PIC added.

These orp eggs are the size of a small store bought egg. Unless I tell someone that they're bantam eggs, they'll never know. I was very surprised at how big they are...and they're still pullet eggs! Can't wait to see how big they become in a month or so. Even my frizzled bantam cochin lays a big egg for her size. That's the problem though...most people think of bantie eggs as the tiny little eggs that come from, say, seramas and d'uccles and such. The heavier bantam breeds will lay a decent sized egg. I, myself, prefer bantam eggs because there's such a good yolk/white ratio compared to standard fowl eggs. YUM-O!

Yay! My camera decided to work right! Here's a pic of yesterday's eggs. That's a half-dollar in between them for size comparison. I don't think these are too small at all for my little ladies...especially since they're pullet eggs.
