My peafowl love those grubs! Normally I only find one at a time so whoever picks up the grub is chased all over the pen by the other peafowl until they eat it or someone else steals it.
I don't have many of those this time of year, but I did uncover quite a large nightcrawler from under a tarp I moved. My White Cochin had it downed in about half a second. My husband keeps talking about building a worm bed for doing compost, but I have yet to see it.
When I was getting large amounts of "horse-manure" for my Garden-Compost, I often found those in the manure. This was before I got my chickens.
But...apparently "horse-manure" is good for these worms.......and Horse-manure doesn't "normally" have as many weed seeds as Cow-manure OR as HOT as Chicken-manure.
Aren't YOU PROUD of Me? ( I'm learning to speak as well as Harry S. Truman.)
