Found robin egg. No heat for possibly 24 hours

Hello!
I found this little Robin egg next to a nest which was torn apart, along with more eggs that were all cracked. It looks like it has some little veins growing (pics arnt very good).. I have no idea what I'm doing, but wanted to see if there was anything I could do to save this little egg. Anybody know? Should I ask a wildlife place? I've hatched reptile eggs I've found fighting for life, but never birds. Just wanted to see if anyone else has done this! TIA

Aww, okay.
Could I give it to my chickens or something for extra protein? Or just throw it away?

I would throw it away to avoid the possibility of disease transfer.

I didn't have a incubator or anything. I but it in a box with warmth and good air circulation like I would do for reptiles eggs I have. Not home right now, but since others said it doesn't seem to be developed, I'll toss it.

Altrical species like robins also need constant care and feeding, plus it is illegal for private citizens to keep wildlife no matter the circumstances, please consider both carefully before hatching this egg, sad but part of life!

Yes, that is what you should do, if the egg seems to still be alive and you want to try to help.

There would be two major issues to deal with:
--hatching the egg and caring for the baby (difficult)
--laws about who is allowed to do this

Talking to a wildlife rescue organization would be the best way to deal with both of those. They should know what care is needed, and how to do it without breaking laws.

You could put it back where you found it, and let nature take its course (whether that means the egg dies, or an animal eats it, or the parents come back, or whatever.)

If the egg seems likely to be dead, I would definitely put it back rather than spending time on other ideas.

After examining it for a little longer, I put it back where I found it.

I’m not in any condition to care for an egg, I have no incubator, nor experience. If the egg had life, I would have taken it to a sanctuary when I could. But seeing as it's been there for who knows how long, I'll let nature do its thing.
I've hatched geckos (mainly captive bred) but also wild ones found when landscaping, and remodeling a house. I always make sure to release them back into their natural habitat, and sometimes I'll get to see them grow! I know geckos are much different from birds, Maybe someday I'll take the risk and try to hatch chickens, but for now, if I find abandoned eggs, I'll contact the wildlife conservation first
