Found rooster in Atlanta

Looks like someone dumped this guy in my neighborhood woods. I don’t know anything about chickens and hate to leave him for predators.

Northwest, inside 285 from Smyrna.

But I’m happy to drive him to a new home. Managed to get him in a box so taking him home until I can figure this out. Please help!he seems pretty friendly.
