Found some chickens by a busy highways - please help id and sex

We found these two by a highway. Not sure of their gender or breed. They look like our Dominique but have fluffy cheeks. Any ideas?

These ones are so cute. If I had the legal rights I’d come grab one and keep him forever.

That’s what I thought at first too, but I don’t really see any similarities other than them being bearded.

Is it a bantam? Very cute cockerel. Most likely not the case, but sort of reminds me of a d'Anvers mix

Glad you saved them!

We had 4 mixed breed bantam roosters dumped here in May. We managed to catch 3 of the 4, and they've integrated into the flock with no issues. The 4th, unfortunately, isn't around anymore...I'm afraid it got eaten by one of the chicken-loving predators we have around here. People make me so angry.
