Bought some yesterday.
Unfortunately the feed store is out of shavings so I can't try it out properly until I start again. I have just enough shavings to hold the stink down for a couple of days.
But I'll let everyone know how it works out.
Meanwhile, my chickens
decided to stir up the existing shavings in the duck house, just in case there might be food and/or bugs in there. Which there isn't. But I'm taking full advantage of that. The sun is shining today
. Rare for this time of year in the Pacific Northwest and it's shining right into the duck house which should help dry it out a bit.
There's never been water in the duck house, just poopy ducks, but they're in there overnight from 5 p.m.- 7:30 a.m.
But I'll let everyone know how it works out.
