AND it's in my hometown, and it's priced for what I'm willing to spend.

Can any of you tell by looking at the 2 pix what work needs to be done?

The ad states that it DOES need work, but I can't tell by looking at it what needs to be done.

I am waiting on them to respond back to my email.

Thanks!

The only thing I could see is that it did need a ramp, and I figured doors.

I'm only looking to house possibly 3 chickens, but more importantly, just Chicky at the moment. She HAS to get out of my room. LOL

Thanks guys! I already have fencing for a run, so that's not an issue. What's been problematic for me is the time/tools/money/materials to actually BUILD a coop. Therefore, this would be perfect IF THEY'LL EVER RESPOND. Ugh. Patience is NOT one of my virtues.

Kinda hard to tell from the pictures if there are any rot issues. Also, depending on how you plan on getting it home, taking it apart may be a problem depending on how it was constructed. Could be a good base to start with though. Will definitely need some doors, paint, better roofing and some TLC. I feel your pain with craigslist. I rarely get responses when I message someone and if I am selling, most of the time the person will not show up.

I have a love hate relationship with Craigslist and joined free cycle which is better but not really good for building supplies. I get some great stuff off Craigslist but OMG people need to respond. It drives me nuts! I feel like I just waste my time more often than not. And the few times someone does write me back it's already spoken for when it was just listed. Very frustrating. GL on whatever you decide to do.
