Found this in the coop today. What's going on?

Went to collect eggs today and found this in the coop (among other normal eggs). Can anyone tell me what's going on and if this indicates a problem with one of my girls?

Do you think 2 separate chickens laid those eggs and someone ate one before you could get to them?

It's possible. I've never had a problem with them eating eggs before

Have you tried opening the smaller egg yet? Or candle it to see if there's a yolk inside?

It almost looks like a solidified yolk in the pic. Was there yolk from the larger egg?

That big egg must have been painful for the little chicken

It's not the same video I saw originally - but it's the same kind of egg. Pretty neat stuff!

I haven't messed with it yet because I want my husband to see it when he gets home from work. There didnt appear to be any yolk from the big egg
