Found two very young chicks

Found two young silkie chicks I don’t know what two feed them my parents are away. Atm so I can’t drive to get them feed the only thing I have budgie seeds and pellets they are not injured please help I don’t want them to starve I have lots of vegetables at home what should I do about grit since I’ve never had to buy it for my budgie

You can try giving them some budgie seeds if you want, but long term, they will need chick starter. Try offering them water. How big are they? Do they look like newly hatched chicks or are they getting feathered? Could you post pictures?

Give them coarse sandy dirt..

Mashing up some hard boiled eggs, both the yolk and the white, could be a solution for a couple days, until you can get them some chick starter.

If you can find some small insects they will eat it too, I use to feed my baby bantams wingless fruitflies and chick food

Use a box or a tub with a light over the chicks to keep them warm make sure there's a small bowl of water for them

no but I used a hot water bottle and some nesting bedding
