Hello. Found what looks like an old english pheasant fowl today in Livermore. Will be gradually introducing this young looking bird into already established flock. Advice appreciated.

The pheasant may bring unwanted visitors with him ie., lice, mites, ticks - will you quarantine him before adding to your flock

! Pleased you joined us! I agree with drumstick - quarantine him for some time - you wouldn't want to get your other birds sick. I have heard this should be as long as 3-4 weeks. I'd also inspect him for parasites. Good luck to you!
