Introducing quail

Hello! After a lot of searching, we have found a new great home for our over-bred quail pair. One question I had was what would be the best time to introduce them as the other person's flock is already established. Does it matter? Because when we had chickens, I would introduce them to each other during the night, so it would be an easier transition. Thanks!

Night is a good idea with quail too. If they can, they should take all of the birds out, clean and rearrange their living area, then put them all in at night. They wake up to new surroundings in the morning and are all on equal footing.
