Four colors of Starlight Green Eggers

Hi All, I want to start a thread for our Starlight Green Eggers to post pictures of their growth. I have found a few threads with pictures similar to ours and what they look like grown but didn't see all the colors we have. Wanted to put pictures of these "hopefully girls" as they grow in case anyone is looking for pictures like I was. There's not too many pictures of them out there growing up and grown, and I can't find hardly any rooster pictures.

The two darker ones are friendly and the two lighter ones are not. I have a suspicion that the medium colored one is a roo...time will tell. I hope not but if so at least it's one of the friendly ones.

I had never heard of these until we saw them at Tractor Supply but decided to get them so we could have some colored eggs in the mix.
I have 2 starlight's. I will get pictures too.

Updates on my Cassia. She is now 6 weeks, 4 days. I’ll repost the previous pics too so you don’t have to scroll back through to see the progress ending with her 6 week pics. The medium sized pics are her 3 week

We got our first egg this morning. It is not green 😂 guess this confirms our SGEs are RIRs. We’ve got a 3rd that I think may be though so we will see once they all start laying! Question about eggs while we’re here- do you refrigerate first eggs? Not sure if they have the bloom in the beginning that protects them.

Hi! I came to this thread when I got my babies so figured I'd pay it forward with some pics. My girls are just turning 12 week old SGE's (or atleast that's what the sign at Tractor Supply said) and this is what they look like. As babies, they were all chipmunks. They are the red ones (the black and gold is an EE) and they are very much leaning out, looking "road-runnery" and built like my Prairie Bluebell hen so I'm hoping that's good sign that they are what they are supposed to be. I saw another comment about aggression, and between their build and the fact that they were squaring up and jump kicking at each other at 4 weeks (and at 12 weeks in the pic), I thought for sure several of these girls were roosters but nope. They are nice girls and while they may not be "sleep in your lap" chickens I've made sure to handle them all and they are all used to being handled and come running to me. I do have a pair of Prairie Bluebells if anyone wants to see them, and neither of them love to be handled but once caught they are calm, and I also didn't handle them as much as babies just because I had a larger group. The rooster is over 5 months now and has never given me an issue but he does go after my husband and we're working on that.

Final update! 2/3 of my “starlight green eggers” are not green eggers 😂 but, they’re happy and healthy and that’s all we can ask for, is for them to just be chickens. It’s funny how between the 3 of them, who arrived from the hatchery / hatched the same date, we had 1 month and 3 days between the first hen’s first egg and the last hen’s first egg.
