Willow perked her ears. She heard a distress call. She hopped to her hooves and ran toward the call. She ran into Ghost. She looked at him wide eyed. She knew it was odd for herself to be a black deer but to see a white deer was a bit odd. She bent down and bit the rope and tugged slowly breaking the rope. The rope snapped finally. She ran ahead a few feet to lead him to safety
 
Willow stopped. She heard the dogs. She rolled across the ground to spread her scent there. She jumped up and rolled into a puddle. To make it so the dogs couldn't follow. She began running back to the herd again.
 
Willow ran back to Rue and stopped. She looked back at Ghost who was close behind.
 
"Right." Rue heard the dogs in the distance. "All of you, follow me!" He said, he started to walk towards a thick part of the forest.
