Four-month-old chicks have no energy, will not eat, and have runny poo - possibly bad feed?

If the pullets are not willingly eating or drinking, you need to drench each bird. Give each bird 1/2 tsp undiluted Corid. CAREFULLY drip it along the corner of the beak so it wicks in and the bird swallows on its own. I would drench once daily for 3-5 days.
How do I drench with undiluted when I have powder? What is the ratio for that?

Yeah, I wouldn't soak them. I didn't realize that wa s a method to use. Maybe use the powder permethrin?
I didn't either, but it worked! So glad too, the infestation was bad. As far as I know, only the adults were affected, but the young ones were scratching where the adults had been so I was just being careful.

I'll try that, thanks. I have powder on hand.

These two pullets I have pictured here, I managed to get to take some water with corid in it but not much. Both of them have soft crops, and I haven't seen them eat. It's almost like their crops are full of water. No one else is like this. Is this a symptom of coccidiosis?
The gold one, Pipsqueak, passed away this morning. I dont know if it was related to the coccidiosis or if it was a crop issue. Hoping her sister pulls through.

All of the younger pullets and older hens are shaking their heads a lot. Is this another symptom or is this unrelated? I don't see signs of mites, and I treated them recently with permethrin. I'm at a loss at how to help these chickens at this point.

The younger ones are gaining an appetite now at least. I also changed the feed back to chick starter, and I hope all the weakness and appetite loss wasn't made worse by my swapping to a feed they didnt like.

Is ther any way they could have gotten into something toxic? Can you get a video?

No, I don't think so. These guys haven't had access to anything outside their run.

Yes, I'll upload it to Youtube when I can. :)

Update - lost the two pullets who weren't drinking, even though I drenched both. Pipsqueak's crop didn't empty, so she didn't get the meds. Candy lasted from Saturday until Wednesday morning, at which point I was really struggling with if I was causing prolonged suffering or recovery so her so it was almost a relief. It looks like everyone else is making a full recovery.

Sorry to hear about your pullets. Hope the others continue to get better.
Thank you, me too. That's why the delay in responding, I've been too heartbroken to come on. I never wanted to play favorites, but Pipsqueak was a favorite. And I almost lost the other, Gazette. But Gazette is doing well.
