Four stray Roo's "appeared" in my yard this morning, need suggestions

you could try calling animal control or whatever is available in your area. Mention livestock and poultry division, biosecurity, etc to get them to take you seriously maybe they'll help you out.

Sounds like a dump. That's really crappy. I have a friend in the country who finds "stray" roos at her place a few times a year. I know she eats them, but she keeps them in a separate pen for a few weeks with good feed first. If they look at all sick they are culled and go into the garbage incinerator.

Thanks for all the help guys! I live on the "edge" of where the burbs end and a more rural area begins. Guess someone knew I had them and didn't consider the risks to my flock. I have culled 3 of them but the other is being more elusive, maybe he will just ease on down the road! Thank you guys again for all your advice

to anyone that this has happen to them before, have you thought about posting some sort of sign asking that people 'for bio-security reasons, please do not abandon animals/chickens on your property without consent'. i know that is could be a reason to either attract them or stop them though but it is an idea.
