I have a four week old chick that I don’t know the breed of but so I don’t know of any health problems I should be looking out for. I decided to buy straight from a hatchery and picked a mix of standard and rare breeds. She has something under her eye and I’m not sure how concerned I should be. Any help would be appreciated

Fowl Pox. It's caused by a virus transmitted by mosquitoe bites. The virus will run it's coarse over a few weeks, leaving the bird immune to it.

It has nothing to do with the breed of the chick, so it's not a big deal that you do not know the breed.
