Late Saturday afternoon she became startled when one of the other girls was returned to the brooder box with purple wrap. All the ducks were startled, actually, but she has stopped eating. She swam some and drank, will drink from the pen water station, but we are giving her electrolites, probiotics and sugar water right now. She is slightly vocal, but preferres to lay away from the other five ducks. Energy level is lower than the others, but she can still stand, walk, etc. Bowel movements are practically pure water.

I see this was a few hours ago, how is she doing now?

Birds don’t take change well, so this just may because of that, however, if her symptoms prolong and she doesn’t start looking better soon, a trip to the vet might be your best bet. Known as the "masking phenomenon" birds will often hide their symptoms until its actually a problem, or when something stressful occurs (in your case) they might not be able to hide it as well, and look and act "off".

Drank a pint of electrolyte overnight.

We have noticed the duck's heels are dark. Bumblefoot perhaps? However, she doesn't seem to limp. Do ducks sometimes have dark pigment on their feet? Her's are all orange except for both ankles.
She does groom and is now laying back with the flock.

7:05 PST UPDATE

Yep, Bumblefoot. She must have been masking up to the horror of the purple bandage on the duck that has Angel Wing. Full tour of duty on this batch! 🎖

7:25 Doesn't seem to be swollen, just scabbed. A few of the other ducks have a much smaller scab in the same place with no other symptoms.

Cleaning the feet in an epsom salt bath and applying Dermaclor to the feet. Going to take them on their morning feed/walk/swim. I will repeat everything that I have been doing for therapy, but also apply Lugol's iodine to the affected area.

Here it is.

The swimming has removed the buildup that was on it early this morning.

She's eating some food this morning starting with a fresh grub and some wood lice and worms.

So, clear iodine would be potassium iodide, whereas Lugols solution has elemental iodine, just like surgical scrub does. If surgical scrub is ok, I will put the Lugols solution on.
