Four week old Runner is drinking, but not eating

That’s the clear iodine it has ammonia. Suppose to help draw infection to the surface. Have you tried warm soupy mix with her feed? What I am saying is do you think this is two separate things going on with her?

But she won't eat her feed?
Not 100% sure. She was running around with the flock this morning but my wife wasn't really observing her that closely. I swooped them up and took them to the garden. She's foraging and has good energy, so I am looking forward to a positive outcome.

Been doing an Epsom salt dunk twice daily after their outdoor sessions and applying Lugols solution (10%) and dermaclor to the afflicted ducks (3) and just the dunk and the dermaclor to the others. Changing the pine chips twice daily.

While I think that the red from the Lugols might be bad if used on chickens, it will be interesting to see how it works out on the ducks. It penetrates like your cannot believe.

Ok, she's full of energy again and eating her dry food. Her sister is now going through a slightly low energy phase too, with no bumblefoot.

Picked up some white iodine; TSC didn't have it, but Walmart did. Chemically it is Potassium Iodide with ammonium iodide, also called Decolorized iodine (Yodo Blanco).

SO, three birds are afflicted, Queenie, has it the worst on two feet, Flash, has it on one of her feet, Madame Curie had it medium on one foot and slight on the other, already only shows a slight trace of some black fissures, so she has recovered really quickly.

Perhaps it just me, but the regularity of Bumblefoot amongst your flock this early suggest there may be some incorrect management practices at play, correcting whatever may be causing this is just about as pivotal as treatment.

No question.

Being new to ducks I have a lot to learn. Interesting to me is why some get afflicted while others do not.

One of mine has angel wing too. Maybe the food? She is the largest and luckily, the tamest.

Another option is that it's not bumble foot, but something else?
Most Bumblefoot I see on youtube is a deep cyst with not much on the surface, whereas this affliction looks more like a little cluster of blisters.

Can you post some recent pics?
Kept them out in the yard until nearly dark, so I wasn't able to get any good pictures.

Treating the three with the 'red, white and blue'; Lugols, White iodine and dermaclor.

I really think that what I am fighting is a fungus infection, however, one must be careful of secondary infections with a fungal attack. The dermaclor is supposed to have anti-fungal characteristics, but I have a specific anti-fungal coming.

Energy is good and all birds are eating, drinking and running around like ducks with half their brains missing.

The malady is at least under control and likely receding, and I feel that keeping them outside as much as possible keeps the pressure off the brooding box as they continue to get bigger.
