Tamaracks are deciduous 'pine trees' and love the wet. They grow in swamps. They're also really pretty in spring and fall, just like the leafy trees. I could plant an armada of those here. Squish, squish.

Amy, the vines take a LONG time to come out of dormancy... don't give up on it yet. I have a few more I can dig up, more of those missed roots!

Whoever was asking.... I bought a trumpet vine, planted it, did not like the location so I moved it..... and did not get all of the roots so I have a few extras to get rid of.....

Amber scent????? I use essential oils; what would the combo for Amber be?????
