Get em Summer. Was it a stray or owned I'd ask the owners if it has them for $200 for run and bird damage and I'd chew em out. I feel for you Summer!

There's no excuse for a dog that roams around killing livestock. Makes me so mad. Some people in our area had their sheep killed by two straying huskies. They were collected by Animal Management but the owners were allowed them back. The first night they were returned to their owners they went back to finish the job. Because no one witnessed it Animal Management wouldn't seize the dogs again. Those poor people are too scared to have sheep now. It's just not right!

Your poor birds. We have a dog and we have taught her that chickens and ducks are "No" which means she doesn't touch them or even follow them. And I'd never let her roam (she actually hates being outside by herself so she'd just sit at the door waiting to be let in anyway)!

there is no excuse for it! just last week that dog had the poor roo by the head trying to pull it out of its coop i caught the as soon as it happened and beat it all the way home stupid dog

I'm soo sorry Summer! Some stray dogs once got a hold of my Buff Orpington. She managed to survive the attack. I hate dogs that do that! I'm so sorry! We have had to kill a dog or two for attacking our flock. A couple of years ago their was a BIG pack of wild, stray, or even a dogs that belonged to someone were roaming around my area. I strongly disliked those dogs. They would come into our yard and attack our dogs. My deepest sympathy!!
