Hey lovelies,
In the last week I've noticed black spots on my roo. They've come up very quickly and one other hen has them. Shes been sitting on eggs for about 18 days. Very minor spots I had to look really closely for. The hen that is glued to his side has none and the last hen has none. I'm just assuming its fowl pox because of other threads. All hens and roo are healthy and living their best lives, no change in behaviour or diet. 2 are broody.
My question is, is this going to kill the new chicks? They're due to hatch on the 13th. I'm hesitant to take them from Mumma just because she's been sitting on them for so long and I have 4 x week old chicks inside in a brooder already.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
