Hi! I’m new here. I’ve had my chickens since March. One of my girls (white leghorn) has fowl pox, and least I’m fairly certain that’s what it is. I’ll attach a picture of her crown. I plan to get electrolytes for her water, and with blukote or veterycin based on online research. So you have any other suggestions?

I think the rest of my flock has it as they have some small scabs, but no raised white bumps like my quarantined girl, Petunia. If their crown start to present as fowl pox, can I keep all of them in their coop? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Boost her immune system, if you have it, brew echinacea overnight and offer it to get as water, also give her raw yolk.
Thank you! Since they all have it, can they stay in their coop, or should I separate Petunia from them since she is further progressed?

They all have it? Are you sure? Sometimes they fight or get hurt and they get wounds on themselfs. Separate Petuina from the rest, until you have figured out if the rest have it.

Pics of the rest of the flock can help.

I'd keep everyone together. Since everyone has it, there's no point in quarantining at this point. Plus, it'll be less stressful on Petunia to be with her flock. Not much to do except keep a watchful eye on everyone. On the bright side once this blows over, they can't get it again

Okay, that’s what I thought as well. Thank you for your advice, as a first time chicken mom, I appreciate it!

This is the rest of their crowns, I thought it looked like it could be early fowl pox…thoughts?
