My flock has fowl pox and we really need to cull some of the Roosters. Does anyone know if it is ok to process them for food at this time, or do I need to wait until they are all well? My "extra packing Roosters" are all big and need to go! Thanks!

I know that I do not have an answer to that question but have you tried seaching in the internet for fowl pox?...maybe there is an agricultural site for your state that would supply the answer....

I would think it would depend on what kind of meds your treating them with but that's my thoughts...

this is a handy manual with charts (even though Canadian I am assuming this will be similar to USA)
http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/anima/meavia/mmopmmhv/chap19/19-4e.shtml

...from what I could tell at a quick glance it does not seemed to be approved for consumption? (I did not look at it very extensively...I would imagine it would depend if the pox was also internal as to the reason it would not be suitable for consumption?) I would not personally eat any diseased animal.
