It could be but also she's not laying eggs. She recently was broody but unfortunately the 2 chicks that hatched died as well as the other eggs but this was like 2-3 weeks ago. I'm just reallu concerned for her, these are my first set of chickens.Looks more like pecks or scratches. If it's pox it will get way worse before it gets better, but I don't think it is pox. There's no treatment or cure, it runs it course in about 6 weeks.
Thank you so much!It usually takes longer for them to resume laying after being broody and allowing to set as opposed to breaking them from it. Generally 4-8 weeks for most hens, but even longer for a few others.
Even if it was pox there's nothing you can do anyways but let it run it's course.
