First summer in Florida with chickens and was hit with fowl pox! 😩 What are the tried and true ways to manage mosquitos in the coop?

Give up, manage the symptoms. This too will pass.

Somewhat less pragmatically, if you have the budget, and you already have more than adequate ventilation, keep them in the run and cover the run with UV block shade cloth. The weave is small enough the mosquitoes don't get thru, light continues to pass thru, it allows (some) water thru, doesn't block airflow too badly. If your ventilation is already borderline, suffer the (dry) fowl pox and move on - don't add heat stress to your birds concerns.
