Fox attack, injured chick found

Well, I'm only venturing a guess here, but the way you describe it it does sound like bruising...I remember when I twisted my ankle badly one year...that thing turned the most awful color of green, then it went to yellow and then purple....hurt like a son-of-a-gun!

I'm wondering if you might be able to "bandage" his wing to his body so it isn't drooping so much? Dunno...just thinking...

Thank you. I'm going to bring him by the vet tomorrow and see what we can do! He's out and about! I forgot to close his cage and he was exploring the house when I got home!
 
carefully trimming the feathers off of his wing will help to, as it will take some weight off ( assuming he has feathers rather than baby fluff)
