Fox attacked my duck! PLEASE HELP!!!

My Neighbors have four dogs and they attacked my Muscovy hen after she flew into their pool! I thankfully rescued her and she ha a gapping hole in her butt, but she recovered perfect! I keep my muscovies in a big pen now! And there is a person in our neighbor hood who has a hunting dog that comes every now and then.... Kills a duck or two then leaves them on the ground and leaves....! I hate that dog >:| I had six baby muscovies and a Moma. The dog sadly grabbed the momma ripped her skin off her belly/ chest and bit a chunk off of her neck and left her there to die.... Didn't eat a bite or take her...just killed her and left her for no reason!

So glad your duck has recovered, but I agree you need to do something about that dog.

Tell your neighbor that that dog will be going to the shelter if it comes back again.

Well I'm in the country so houses are far apart except one of my neighbors and we share our ponds between our ducks and geese. Her dogs stay in a pen so they don't harm our ducks except if they get into the backyard themselves. And the thing is I don't know who's dog the hunting dog is! D;

I'm not for sure, But i know he is somebody that lives on our street. And sadly he's impossible to catch!

I'm sorry that sucks I hope he stops. It's just hard with those hunting dogs, I have a hound that loved to chase our ducks but we trained her not to.

And we have a HUGE snapping turtles that live in our ponds! We've set traps, shot them, etc! We can't kill them! they keep drowning our duks! bummer! Logging off for the night bye! ;D

In PA you can shoot any animal that is going after your livestock. Shoot the dog, bury it and shut up.
