(What happened so far?)
"Oh! Then we should, really be going." She looked over at Damon who was now talking to Vasper. "We must not over stay our welcome. Thank you Ruby, for allowing me to meet your precious pups." She looked down one last time and whispered, "Thea, Sandor and Jarvis." She looked over to see Damon and Vasper talking. So she lingered a little longer.
Damon finished his conversation with Vasper and headed over to Amari. He looked at her and noticed she was positively radiating happiness. Damon looked at Ruby and smiled his gratitude to her for helping Amari find it.
Damon and Amari looked at each other for a long moment. Then she looked back at Ruby and said, "We will have to decline the food invasion. It's nothing against Jack's cooking. It's just that we are not used to cooked meat. When Damon escaped his master, for a week he was sick almost to death, all because his body was not used to raw meat. I however have never had cook meat, but I don't want to chance it. Maybe you can understand, my reluctance." She tried to explain to Ruby. She smiled back. "I really wouldn't mind you staying for dinner." Ruby said. "And neither would anyone else, I suspect."

Damon shuddered, " I will never go through that again. We need to get back to the woods, anyway. So we'll eat there, but perhaps we'll see you out there sometime. Then we can have a merry chase, though the woods. It's really nice meeting another arctic fox, even though I'm a Marble one. Of course Amari says I look more skunk." He said jokingly to Ruby.
Amari said to Damon reverently, "Ruby let me name her pups Damon. Wasn't that saintly of her?"
Damon nodded his respect to Ruby. Than
to Amari he said, "Rest assured my beautiful heart, we will come back to see our new friends." He rested his head against her neck for a moment. Then he looked lovingly down at Ruby's pups. When he looked back up at Ruby, his eyes were glassy. He then turned and walked for the doggie door.
Amari said softly,"I'll see you again, Ruby. Bye for now." She forced herself to get up and follow Damon.
Ruby smiled sweetly. "I hope I can see you again soon." She said. The pups were rolling around in front of Ruby, biting each others incredibly fluffy fur coats.
Vasper watched the two foxes leave out the doggie door. Curious he walked over to Ruby. "What was all that about. Amari could care less about the other foxes, she came straight to you. What do you think of her? Is she what she seems or are we going to have problems?" He asked Rudy concerned.
"She's really friendly." Ruby said nicely. "And sweet. She's not mean at all."
