Damon was on his way back to the house, when he saw Ruby playing in the snow. He laughed, as not to scare her.

"Hello! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who likes to play snow bank." Damon said as he smiled. Then he looked around nervously. "I've got to tell you something, but I don't know how to do it. Without it causing a problem." He stated.

But before I continue, do you want to carry this burden as well? If not I will understand completely." Damon looked her right in the eyes to gauge her sincerity of her answer.
