"Oh, man. I've seen marble foxes before. Mostly males, though." Ruby said. "Once the pups get their final coat, then they may be marble." Ruby told Damon. "But it still confuses me, I'm not dumb, I don't think. But if he wanted so much money he'd have to give you bathes, give you good food, and other stuff so someone would pay a lot for you. Oh well, humans confuse me." Ruby said and chuckled. "Jack says that he was going to get rid of me, but he couldn't resist my face." She said and giggled.

"The breeder was a nice man. He was kind. The man that demanded to buy me was not, to him I was a possession. One that he grew bored with once he acquired me. Then when his friends stop being impressed with me. He built a cage in the back yard and through me in it. To forget about me." Damon explained further.
