Red woke. She slowly got up out of the den trying not to wake them. She sat at the entrance of the den. The wind blew lightly. She enjoyed the fresh air

"So, Sebastian, have you ever waned a family?" Midna asked him.

Red breathed in the cool air. She loved the cool night air it seemed better to breath then the day air

"So, Sebastian, have you ever waned a family?" Midna asked him.

Sebastian thought for a little while,
then he says, "No, I never really thought about it, silver foxes are hard to find. The trappers got both mom and dad. In fact most of them in that area." He paused in reflection. Sebastian continues "In fact, it had been four months sense we had last see one. Come to think of it." in a whisper he says, "What if we are the last ones?"

"Oh..." She said. "I'm just a mutt. It's not often two different kinds of foxes breed." She said. "I bet there are more, don't worry." She said nicely.

Ruby got up and yawned. The fennec fox was sleeping on a fuzzy blanket inside. She had a scar from Red. Ruby went out from under the porch and checked on the chickens to make sure they were safe, more eggs were laid and being sat on by the broody hens. Ruby was surprised that Jack had actually destroyed Red's home. But then she thought, he'd never had an animal that had done so much damage in one day.

Midna woke up and her pups were pulling Sebastian's ears. She chuckled.

Red stretched. Her pups were sleeping and she was hungry. Her stomach growled. She didn't want to go back to the farm even if her life depended on it.
