Red flattened her ears. She tried to stop but she couldn't. She just let it all ouy
Red stopped crying and lay down. She rested her head on her paws and sighed, "if only I were a better mother." She said to herself
Red lay on the ground, still thinking about how she could've saved them by being there
Vasper had decided to take his brother on a hung to try to teach him a few techniques he had learned from their father. They were both hunch down in some tall grass. Vasper had noticed a few pheasant up ahead. He was waiting until they become distracted by eating before he made his move. His haunches were tense, ready to spring forward and pounce one one. That's when he heard it. A bored sigh. Then "Brother? Why do we need to hunt? Jack gives use fish." Sebastian asked. Vasper very slowly turns his head to meet his brother's eyes. After a moment of silence, he replied, "You can't rely on any one, other then your self. You must be self sufficient Sabastian. I may not always be there to provide for you. Jack is human he can't teach you to hunt. What then? WELL?" at the last word all the pheasants flew away. Vasper just closed his eyes. After a moment, Sabastian says, "Why are you sleeping? I thought we were hurting?"
Vasper just tells his brother, "There's no words to describe what I'm thinking right now!!!"
Vasper didn't like the tone of distress in her voice. All aggregation fled from him. Turning to Mary he asked, "What is it?" But deep down he thought,"Who was it?" With a sickness in his gut he waited for her reply. Sabastian, too was eerily quite.
