Vasper was up and running before she finished. His heart in his throat. Flashbacks of his mother, after his father was killed, rushed front and center. He was not seeing where he was running, he was on autopilot. His mind in the past. His mother had three pups then and Vasper was just out of pup hood. He tried to fill his fathers place, becoming the provider for his mother, younger brothers and sister. But one sister died and then the other brother was next. Sabastian, being the only one to survive. For his mother was killed two months later. Heartaches was his constant companion. "Oh, he knew it well."he thought bitterly.

"I don't think it was a human, the air smelled terrible, like some wild animal." Mary said. "Settle down. Really. You'll hurt yourself." Mary was usually child like but when things were bad she knew she had to be serious.

Vasper heard none it it. Still trapped in the past. It wasn't until he caught Red scent, did he manage to come back to himself. "Red!" he cried. Then rushed up to her. Then stopped short, unsure how she would receive him. She really didn't know him all that well. So he studied her, his legs shaking from running too fast. He whined at her and looked at her with the utmost sympathy in his eyes.

It seemed like everyone was in sorrow. Surprisingly, even the hen, clucking, in search of her dead baby.

(Hello?:( )
This one I'm waiting on Red's response. Or I should say Vasper is.
We can go back to Sabastian and Mary I guess.

Sabastian watched his brother go. He had never seen him like that. In shock over the news he looked back at Mary and said, "They were so young and their life too short." He then made his legs move.

"Yes, but God planned it that way, he had something better for them in store." Mary said and smiled. "I know it's hard but when you think they get to be in a place where there's no sadness, pain, or anger, you aren't as sad, you know?" Mary said.
