Until he really looked at it, then he said, "Wow! That's highway robbery!" Victor looked back at Jack with a smile on his face and said aimlessly," Do you ever feel, that sometimes the animals are smarter than humans? I know now, why Ashton wanted us to meet. I can help you get money to pay these." Victor stated. "That's if you don't mind my help?" He clarified.

"Jesus!" Jack said, "I'm not cursing, that's my cats name." He said and laughed. "I always believed that animals were much smarter than us." Jack said. "I don't mind help, but I'm ashamed that I can't even pay my own bills." Jack said.

"Don't be ashamed, Jack. Your doing a lot of good here. Your going above and beyond, to help these animals, let me help you. After all, they went through a lot of trouble for you, Jack. That, in itself speaks volumes." Victor chuckled and look around at said animals, as he stood up.

"Okay, if you would write your number on the bottom of the page." Victor said as he dared to walk up to the porch. He got a pen from his pocket and extended the papers to him. "Then I'll call around to my associates and get back with you." He extended his hand to Jack. "It's been nice to meet you, Jack."

He signed the papers. "You too, Victor." Jack said and smiled.

Victor smiled back at Jack, as he took the papers. Then looked down at Ashton and said," Alright little Ashton, I hope you know how to get back. Because I haven't a clue. Next time you get it in you head to have me out hiking, let me change out of my dress shoes first."

Ashton looked up at him, turning her head left, then right. As she wagged her tail and yipped at him. Then started walking back the way they had came.

Victor looked up at Jack before he followed her and said," Bossy little thing." He waved as he left.

"Well, that happened." Jack said and headed inside. He was shocked at some random guy being led by a fox to his house.
