Red rolled her eyes. "How ridiculous."
"Oh uh..." He knew if he lied to her he wouldn't only look like a coward he would be untrustworthy. "I got scratched by that cat over there." He grinned a little

Vasper was enjoying the show. Not the Mary and Dakota show, the Sebastian show. Vasper sat down, so he could better experience the full spectrum of his brother's emotional evolution. First there was surprise and then there was shock. Oh, there it is, outraged now. But the emotion that won out above all the others, was jealousy! Vesper had never see his brother this way. He even noticed, that Sebastian's hackles were up. To that he laughed out loud. Pay backs! They got ya when you least expect them!
Sebastian looked over at his brother's levity and noticed it was at his expense.
He grunted and stormed off into the woods.
Mary saw Sebastian and looked curiously at him. "What's wrong with Sebastian?" Mary asked Vasper.
Vasper smiled a knowing smile and lied, "I really don't know what got into him, he must have needed a run."
