Ruby worked, she covered the top of the den with moss to prevent it from leaking. She used mud to pack it down. The entrance was untouched.

( Okay, I'm going to remind everyone on there of a few things about the foxes forgiveness, that they aren't extending to Ashton. Now I'm not pointing fingers that's not what this is about. But there is a double standard. Red attached and tried to kill Leo, killed a chicken and chick. But she is a okay in Jack's book. After he destroyed her den by filling it in. Oh, just because a little hair dye was put on her tail, which wore off quickly, Jack's not that stupid. Now Ashton has one pup tantrum and lashes out and bites Vasper. She's now hated, called stalker and a psycho. While the other fox's yelled and turned on Red. Ashton, Vasper and Sebastian, all rallied around Red, ready to help her through her hard times. How is that fair? You forget Ashton brought Victor to meet Jack, thus changing his life forever. That was all Ashton's idea. Those are noteworthy deeds, but now she is branded unworthy of Jack's kind attention. That enrages me on a personal level. I put heart into all my characters, they are not shallow. They are all slightly flawed in some way. I know they are fictional characters. But pretend that they could transcend to real life. What if we were all judged, by our worst day? Never to live it down, never given another chance to prove, we are more then that which defined us at that time. That is who Ashton represents to me, a rash decision you can't take back and her journey back from it. So don't hate her for what she did, she hates herself enough, but help her find hope and self love again. That's all I ask my friends.)

Nina ran as fast as she could, but the wolf behind her kept nipping at her heels, obviously playing with her, then she heard a loud roar and the wolf behind her fell away from her, running past her into the brush, ignoring her, then she heard a great crashing, a huge cat, far bigger than Jesus, (Its a Mountain Lion) Came crashing through the brush, and standing behind her with a foot planted firmly on a struggling wolf was a huge, black monster, (Bear) They clashed, claw against claw, tooth against tooth, she hear the ferocious battle behind her and Nina looked over to Sebastian looking for answers, but she got none, so she ran, all the way back to the den and dived in breathing heavily, gasping for air.
