Rieve reminded herself, 'You have a wolf on your side! Get on with it.' She looked back at Inigo and asked, "Where are my parents? I must speak to them, on these matters. After all I came back for them not you." Rieve said sternly.
Raine tipped his head sideways and smiled devilishly. "Oh! I like you better with a backbone. So strong, so proud! But I'm afraid we have bad news about your parents." He said and looked at his father to finish.
Inigo looked down with sadness. "About a week after you left and Castiel went after you, your mother was shot. Your father so consumed with rage and grief went after the poachers and hasn't been seen since. We fear the worst" he finished solemnly.
Rieve looked between them to verify the accuracy of his statement. She saw only truth. Her feet came out from under her and she landed hard on the ground.
