They were very close now, he very slowly lowered himself to the ground and flattened his ears. He knew now where they were. He blended in with the leaf littered floor. He waited patently as they came within range. There was three pheasants. One male two females. Castiel tensed up waiting for them to be distracted by feeding. A moment longer....he sprang forward and grabbed the male in his mouth, as the others flew away. He bit down hard to kill it. Proud of his prize for his vixen, he trotted back to her.
