It had been a hard two weeks. The travel was extremely tiresome. She felt like she could sleep for a week. She got up and said,"Goodnight to both of you. I'm beat. I'll see you tomorrow Raine." Then she crawled into the den. After a moment she yelled back in wonder, "Wow! This is the right den, isn't it Hans? You were very busy while I was gone! This is the largest den I have ever seen!"

She finished looking around at all the improvements. She went and licked him good on the cheek. "I love you my handsome Hans!" She giggled as she said that.

Raine got up to explore. The moon had come up and gave him plenty of light to see by. About thirty minutes into his search he found an abandoned den. He slipped inside and smelled trace scents of Eve. So he knew she didn't need it, so he curled up into a tight ball and went to sleep.

Gideon awoke from a good sleep. He crawled out of his den, he yawned and stretched. He then sat to watch the sunrise. It really was remarkable, he never got tired of watching it. The morning had a cool, dampness. But the suns rays illuminated the patches of fog down in the valley by the river. He could feel the suns heat now upon his fur, he closed his eyes to better enjoy it. That's when he heard it, or more like who. "Sigh..what are we doing Giddy?" He kept his eyes closed to better ignore her.

She had come up and sat beside him. She waited a moment, but nothing. So she tried again,"Giddy? Are you asleep.... again?" Arran asked curious. He was such a wonderful fox, but he did the strangest things.

Gideon slumped his head and neck down and hung it from his shoulder for a long while. After he gathered his annoyed and aggravated emotions he straightened up to look over at her. "What part of not messing with me do you not understand? I did say that right? I didn't imagine it, did I? So let me ask you something. Why are you here messing with me again?" He asked her hotly. He watched her eyes dart around then look at him, then look off again. He was about to snap out "why!!" When she finally answered.

Arran recovered from her thoughts and said, " Well, I um...just thought....Um" She started then realized, " Well I brought you, um I mean us! Breakfast." She explained as she smiled at him sweetly and fluttered her eyes at him.

Gideon frowned at her. "Do you have something in your eye?" He asked curiously.
