He carried her gently by her scruff and put her in the snow, it covered her face.

Rieve got up and shook the snow off her face. She gave Hans a devil's grin as she tipped her head at him sideways. She then turned around and assumed a digging posture. Only to start digging in the snow, sending it out behind her in a rooster tail, right at Hans.

He dodged the snow and pushed her into the pile. He ran quickly, sprinting about.

He laughed at her playfully. He then stopped and panted. "I beat you!" He said and laughed.

Gideon was out doing his daily scent marking. With a new territory you had to be diligent. To prove you were serious about your territory. Once it was established, he could let it go, to every three days or so. His mind kept going back to the fox and coyote. He really was a little flattered, that they wanted to stay in his territory. Usually his kind didn't want anything to do with him. Andorra was such a lovely colored red fox. While he was not. He thought of his mother and father. How they had beautiful reds, oranges, whites and blacks. But not him, he thought bitterly. His coloring only worked one time of the year. The rest of the time, he practically starved, because the pray could see him coming a mile away. Gideon froze as he heard a noise. He slowly lowered himself to the ground, to wait to see what it was from.
