Rieve looked at him amused as he hoped around and giggled. But when she started to get a chill, she flopped on the forest floor and rolled around in the leaf litter to dry off. The leaves helped her fur coat and they add a woody scent.

It getting dark outside. "I wish the days were longer. It seems they go away in seconds." Hans said and looked at the sky.

"Yes, I am really for spring too. Sometimes I wish we were nocturnal. That way it wouldn't matter." Rieve said wishful.

"Yeah, but then we would miss out on all the beautiful creatures doing what they do and we'd never be able to see the glory of the sun." Hans said.

Rieve thought about that, then agreed. "Your right, other nasty things go bump in the night." She stated.

Hans yawned. "Ugh, winter is really getting to me. All I do is sleep and eat." He said.

Rieve feeling she was dry enough, stood up and shook off the leaves that stuck to her fur. She then yawned big herself. "But right now that doesn't seem like a bad idea." She replied. She headed over to Hans to give him a goodnight lick. Then headed into the den to get warm and some shut eye. She curled into a ball, with her head tucked in tight.

He followed her lead. He wished he could just hibernate and never have to wake up.

Rieve heard him come in, but then she was out like a light.

Hans had the same dream again, but it was longer. Once he was pulled into the darkness he was hanging in the middle of the woods by his foot, just one foot. He was dizzy and couldn't see very well. Everything was blurry.
Dogs surrounded him. They barked and bit and growled, they always missed him but he wanted to get away, this was torture. All he could see were dogs that were about to kill him, and black figures holding the dogs, laughing. He looked around but then everything was black, and he awoke again. It was starting to get light. He was panting but luckily he was silent as he had the nightmare.

Rieve awoke to find Hans already awake. She yawned and stretched. She then noticed he was panting. Concerned she went over to him. "Are you alright? What did I miss?" She asked worried.
