Fox caught on camera leaving the area after failed attempt at digging under fence at 4:30 yesterday morning.

The fence is buried several inches along that side after three years of adding bedding material.

I didn't bury the fence or add an apron at the time I erected the fence.
The Hens were secure in their coop at the time. GC

It will more than likely be back. I would do something to make it ha dear to dig. I do have an apron on mine but it’s not deep. I also have concrete blocks on top of the apron around my coop (planted flowers and a few veggies in them.

Oh yeah I've got many pictures of a Fox on camera over the past couple of weeks. STC_0012 (2019-08-01T14_14_40.483).jpg .I have also seen it in my driveway from the kitchen window.
It's the first time it tried to dig under the fence.
I believe it has a den nearby. GC

With my electric wires around my pens and coops they give up pretty quick once they get zapped. Had been seeing this one quite regularly. Usually on this camera.

Hi so glad the blighter did not succeed, and pray he never will. As a fox
wiped out 16 of ours, years ago. Still feel guilty, as forgot to lock their coops.
It was horrid, now i never forget, even though it is like Fort Knox. lol
We all know the saying, cunning as a fox, and boy they sure are.
Good luck.
