Fox??? Help Please!!

Thank you for all your responses!! I free range my chickens all day every day in the middle of several hundred acres. We will definitely keep on the look out and keep the shotguns/rifles handy!!! If the former Marine I'm married to sees a fox or coyote anywhere near here......Well you get the picture:)
 
We have a little solar panel red blinking box that is supposed to keep away foxes. I live near the woods and know that there are foxes out there. This red blinking light has kept them away for many years and it has only recently stopped working. Here is a link to a Nite Guard box on amazon:

When you have predators give you a pass then come after your birds for a bit does not mean they are not present or not deciding to visit. Rather they are pursuing other options. I have same fox to south that has been around for some time without coming after chickens. Then he did for two nights then stopped but it still works area to south.
