Hello

I have a huge run and a wonderful coup for my ducks and Guineas'. I let them fee range during the day.
I lost 1 Guinea last week in the day time.
Yesterday I lost 6-7 Guineas, 4 ducklings and 2 adult ducks. They were all acting funny and would not go in at night. As it turns out there was a gray fox inside there run. I eliminated it, is there any more I can do to protect them during the day?
I am sure there is more then one with my losses yesterday.

Thank you

Paul :(

Foxes tend to be loners so chances are, having eliminated it, you'll be right for awhile. The birds will be traumatized for a little while but will get over it quickly. Good job eliminating your predator!

Thank you

I think I am more traumatized than the ducks, it was a horrible experience. I raised all of the little ones in the house and just isolated them in the run to get acquainted with the flock.
I had them fenced off with no place to go!

Paul
