Thanks for sharing this! I want to be a little skeptical, but them I remember how my hens have chased and attacked my cats, and have come out on top

Same here! But when I lived in South Africa my cockbirds attacked mongoose and one went after and beat the tar out of a visitor's dog. So I can belief the story to some extend, but "pecked to death"? I know from painful experience that chickens are vicious peckers, but they must've really ganged up on that poor fox!
