Foxes

With all the other predators that I have to watch out for the skunks , possums, coons now I have to add foxes. Was sitting out on back porch discussing with SO about going to close up the chickeys when a full grown fox ran across the yard. it sure was pretty but it was flying. Talk about running to the coops to close them up it was fast sooo glad they had already put themselves up. just had to close the pop doors & runs. Well at least I hope everything is predator proof. Hopefully all that hardware cloth pays off.

I would be real careful I had some of my chickens get pick it off by a fox until I got him
we are talking 6 am till noon that's when I would loose most of my chickens untill i got him around 9:30 in the morning

We had a fox try to get one of our chickens right at our front door,in broad day light he came 3 times that day even with me out on the deck watching!He looked at me and he just kept trying to get her UGH!!
