I have two goslings and one has angel wing. I read to strap it, but also that it can be too much protein. I have let them graze in my dog's yard but I can't keep one of my dogs out there with them.
The part of the yard sans chickens and ducks is overrun with foxtail grass. DH has yet to cut it....despite my pleading. I may end up hacking away at it but for noe, can my goslings (and ducklings) eat this grass or will it harm them if they eat the seed heads, which are nice and dangerous for my dogs.....?
These geese are so sweet, they great me, talk to me, follow me (unless there is grass to be devoured and their ADHD kicks in at bedtime, dorks). All in all, I am really glad I got them.
So, foxtail grass, good, bad or indifferent ? Thanks! ;:/
