Framing Cabinet Doors

Hey everyone. I've been interested in framing my cabinet doors. I heard there was an episode on hgtv or somewhere on how to do this by using 1 x 2's or something, and then painting them. Does anyone know where I might find this episode or instructions? Has anyone here done this themselves?
