Hello, I have a 12 week old Salmon Faverolle pullet who seems fine during the day but poops blood over night (there’s a splatter of red blood under where she roosts) and there is some blood in her poops in the morning. I’ve been treating her with amprolium for the past 3 days (this has been going on for 4 days) without seeing any change. I saw the dosage info here and also from the manufacturer. She’s currently inside and her sister seems fine. She’s fairly perky during the day - running around and eating and drinking. And she does have normal poops. It seems like something happens over night. I’m having trouble finding a vet that will see her. The best I could do was an appointment in a week. I’m not sure she will make it a week. Any thoughts about how I can help her would be greatly appreciated.
