I think your creativity about the shock was great. As animal owners we do what we have to and try. My co-workers know me to be the "farm" lady and just take my daily encounters in stride. Now your story they would really like and I bet if at hand would have offered up some ideas. Being computer programmers and geeks they would be naturals
